Summer 2010 in Toronto

Summer in Toronto has been busy fun for our Top Model winner; Fraser played Jully Black's helper in a segment for E-Talk (CTV) and will soon grace the pages of catalogues for The Bay as well as Wallmart and print ads for Hakim Optical. Next stop is New York City where Fraser will meet his Eastern USA representatives at Q Models followed by Wilhelmina Models in Miami. As the winner of Gay Top Model 2010, Fraser signed a modeling agency contract with Canada's I Model Management which is now giving him these great opportunities to shine. From Spring to Summer

Our Gay Top Model 2010 winner is now in Seattle working with Heffner Agency; Fraser also just signed an agreement with Wilhelmina Models in Miami and will be spending the summer in the East Coast, being sought out by new clients. As the winner of Gay Top Model 2010, Fraser signed a modeling agency contract with Canada's I Model Management which is now giving him these great opportunities south of the border. "Everything still seems so surreal – the phone calls, emails, texts, BBMs and Facebook notifications continue to flood my poor, water-logged phone. Winning the title of “Gay Top Model 2010” came as a pleasant surprise to me. All I can really remember after the announcement is flashing from cameras, people hugging me, and a lot of noise. I kept asking myself if I had heard the name correctly because everything was happening so fast. I was so overwhelmed that I just wanted to run off the stage and sit down somewhere quiet to digest what was going on.
The whole Gay Top Model experience has been an amazing one; meeting a ton of new people was one of the main reasons I did this project, but when I learned that it was a fundraiser for a great organization, I was extremely proud to be apart of it. All of the guys who I was with for the past three months made the journey so memorable and enjoyable for me. I am honored to be the Gay Top Model 2010 and can’t wait to see what the future brings me! Bring it on, fashion world. Bring it on."

GTM EXPERIENCES, A WRITING TASK
Sports, the official theme by Fraser
The official theme photo shoot for this competition had me very nervous; we had to bring props that went with the sport we chose. Mine was boxing - easy, right? I chose boxing because I box everyday to keep in shape and it's a pretty easy costume to create. We were asked to be video taped doing various exercises, which was new for me, kind of awkward as well. Doing push-ups as someone takes video isn't an everyday occurrence for me. The actual photo shoot itself was also a new experience. It's really hard to ‘act mean' in front of a camera, especially when you aren't really a mean person to begin with! After the four hours I had spent waiting, photographed and videotaped I was exhausted and starving, but I had learned a lot and became quite comfortable with the camera.
