Krista Lomax [vj:krash:hazzard] is a motion graphics designer and video artist who has collaborated and VJ’ed with a diverse array of artists and labels including Aphrodite, Coldcut, Freq Nasty, Asad Rizvi/Reverberations, OM Records, Crystal Method, Voltaic and Kuba Oms. Lomax has been featured in a variety of festivals including Toronto International Film Festival, FUSE at the Vancouver Art Gallery, New Forms Festival, LIVE Biennial Performance Art Festival, Shambhala Electronic Music Festival, Illuminares Festival of Light and Parade of the Lost Souls. Collectives she has joined forces with include A440Hz, Rhythm Visual & Sound Society, The Al Neil Project and Factory Nights @ SNAP Gallery. Her work has been commissioned by Brightlight Pictures, Insight Film Studios, Shavick Entertainment, Telus World Ski and Snowboard Festival and LG Electronics. Her designs are featured in music videos for Michelle Boback, Suzy Solar and TV Heart Attack and approximately 30 film and television productions.
